A classic tale that appeals to all ages from 3 to 93. Sleeping Beauty begins in King Felix’s great hall with the celebration of Princess Aurora’s birth. In this retelling, a painted storybook opens to reveal each scene. Beautifully hand-crafted marionettes are brought to life by master puppeteer Peter Schaefer,

Tanglewood Marionettes have won UNIMA awards, puppetry’s highest honor for their productions of beautiful marionettes, colorful sets, integrated music and lighting as they bring their repertoire of classical tales to life.  This wonderful production begins with a brief demonstration of the art of puppetry.
