DESCRIPTION:The Hebrew date for Yom HaShoah (27 Nissan) this year begins on the evening of Monday\, April 17. Following up on the initiative to hold a Jewish community-wide Yom HaShoah ceremony\, Temple Ner Tamid of Peabody has generously offered to host the ceremony at their synagogue that evening. NSRCA (North Shore Rabbis and Cantors Association) is sponsoring this event together with the JCCNS (Jewish Community Center of the North Shore)\, the Lappin Foundation and many of our synagogue communities.\n\nThe plan is to have a ceremony with readings and songs led by all of you who would like to participate and by teens from our communities\, youth groups\, and other Jewish teen leadership groups.\n\nAll are welcome to join the North Shore Jewish Communities and the Lappin Foundation for a solemn Holocaust memorial event. A survivor will be the keynote speaker. Temple Emmanuel of Wakefield is a co-sponsor of this event.\n
