DESCRIPTION: Asia (Hebrew: אסיה) is a 2020 Israeli drama film directed by Ruthy Pribar\, starring Alena Yiv and Shira Haas\, star of Unorthodox and Shtisel\n\nAsia is a Russian woman and single mother working as a nurse in Jerusalem. Her teenaged daughter Vika (Shira) is in failing health but their relationship has ongoing struggles. Asia’s motherhood has always been an ongoing struggle rather than an obvious instinct. Becoming a mother at a very early age has shaped Asia’s relationship with her teenage daughter Vika. Despite living together\, Asia and Vika barely interact with one another. Asia concentrates on her job as a nurse while Vika hangs out at the skate-park with her friends. Their routine is shaken when Vika’s health deteriorates rapidly. DESCRIPTION:Sisterhood of Temple Emmanuel invites you to Zentangle with Susan McFarlane \nMay 24\, 2021 at 7 to 8:30 pm. On Zoom   \nNew to Zentangle®? Take a break with a relaxing\, meditative\, easy to learn drawing practice. No prior art experience required. You will need paper\, a pencil\, and a thin pen (felt tip\, thin Sharpie\, Micron\, or something that writes nicely). A blender/tortillion\, cotton swab\, or rolled paper is helpful for shading. “Anything is possible — one stroke at a time.” Michael’s and Amazon have the Micron. You can get a set of 3 for less than $10\, but just getting the number 1 micron and maybe a 5 will be enough. \nFree to Sisterhood and Temple member and their families.
