DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Mikveh – virtual tour of Mayyim Hayyim Mikveh in Newton\n\nPre-registration required\n Event is on zoom \n Open to Sisterhood members and\, if space available\, Temple members\n\n  \nThis program presented by Mayyim Hayyim will include a study of mikveh’s biblical roots and a virtual tour of Mayyim Hayyim.  Participants will learn about what happens at an immersion and the many reasons—ancient and contemporary—that bring people to the mikveh.  No prior knowledge about mikveh or Judaism is necessary.  Mayyim Hayyim is a 21st century creation in Newton serving the Jewish community of today. \nSponsored by the Sisterhood of Temple Emmanuel of Wakefield. \nUp to 29 participants are allowed on this educational Zoom talk which is free to registrants.
